Description

The third volume of "The History of Soviet Drama Theater" covers the period from 1926 to 1932, a time of intense exploration by the masters of the multinational Soviet theater. The book describes works created for the 10th anniversary of October, the process of renewing the realism of theatrical art in all the peoples of the USSR, and the emergence of mature and strong creative groups in many union and autonomous republics.

Particular attention is paid to the work of the greatest actors - N. Khmelev, B. Shchukin, V. Pashennaya, A. Buchma, N. Uzhviy, G. Glebov, A. Khorava, V. Andzhaparidze, Asmik, S. Mikhoels and many others.
