The final volume of "The History of Soviet Drama Theater" is dedicated to the explorations and achievements of theater figures from 1953 to 1967. It analyzes the main trends in the development of multinational theatrical art. Particular attention is given to productions of new Soviet plays, works embodying the image of V. I. Lenin, and performances presented for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. Productions of classics occupy an important place. The volume concludes with a final essay, which characterizes the half-century of Soviet theater and reveals its global significance.
