Bulgarian opera artist (lyric-dramatic soprano). Graduated from the Sofia Conservatory, class of I. N. Vulpe. She began her stage career at the Sofia People's Opera. In 1931 she performed in London (together with Chaliapin) in the parts of Yaroslavna (Prince Igor) and Natasha (Rusalka). T. had a voice of a beautiful timbre with a metallic tint, and had a fine command of nuances.
