દેશી કલા મંદિર દ્વારા પ્રસ્તુત "શ્રી અંકી સામાજિક નાટક" એ એક પરંપરાગત ગુજરાતી રંગભૂમિ નાટક છે. આ પ્રકારના નાટકો મુખ્યત્વે ત્રણ ભાગો (ત્રણ અંક) માં વિભાજિત કરવામાં આવતા હોય છે, જે સમાજના વિવિધ વિષયો, કૌટુંબિક સંબંધો, નૈતિક મૂલ્યો અને સામાજિક સુધારાઓ પર આધારિત હોય છે. આવા સામાજિક નાટકોમાં મનોરંજનની સાથે સાથે પ્રેક્ષકોને એક ઊંડો અને સચોટ સંદેશ આપવાનો પ્રયાસ કરવામાં આવે છે, જે જૂની ગુજરાતી રંગભૂમિની એક આગવી ઓળખ રહી છે.
