Description (English)
This play is a light-hearted comic farce driven by misunderstandings and desperate cover-ups. The plot centers on Suneet, whose eccentric boss introduces a strange company policy: 'Only married employees with two or three children will be retained, while bachelors will be laid off.' To save his job, Suneet lies to his boss claiming he is married with children. When the boss insists on visiting his home to meet the family, a panicked Suneet turns to his best friend Ramesh's wife, Neeta, begging her to pretend to be his wife for a few hours. Neeta agrees to help and steps out to temporarily arrange some neighborhood children to act as his kids. Meanwhile, an eccentric and oblivious History Professor named Janardhan arrives at Neeta's house carrying a crying baby, leading to a series of hilarious, absurd dialogues with Suneet about vegetables, human relationships, and marriage.

આ નાટક એક રમુજી અને ગેરસમજણથી ભરેલી પરિસ્થિતિ પર આધારિત હાસ્ય-પ્રહસન છે. કથાના મુખ્ય પાત્ર સુનીતની નોકરીમાં તેના બોસ (શેઠ સતકનાથ) એક વિચિત્ર નિયમ બહાર પાડે છે કે 'પરણેલા અને બે-ત્રણ બાળકો ધરાવતા કર્મચારીઓને જ નોકરીમાં રાખવામાં આવશે, જ્યારે કુંવારાઓને રજા આપી દેવાશે'. પોતાની નોકરી બચાવવા માટે સુનીત તેના બોસ આગળ ખોટું બોલે છે કે તે પરણેલો છે અને તેને બાળકો છે. જ્યારે બોસ તેની પત્ની અને બાળકોને જોવા આવવાની વાત કરે છે, ત્યારે ગભરાયેલો સુનીત તેના મિત્ર રમેશની પત્ની 'નીતા' પાસે મદદ માગે છે અને તેને થોડા કલાક માટે પોતાની બનાવટી પત્ની બનવા કરગરે છે. નીતા તેને મદદ કરવા તૈયાર થાય છે અને ભાડા/ઉધારના બાળકો શોધવા જાય છે. દરિમયાન નીતાના ઘરે ઇતિહાસના એક ભૂલકણા પ્રોફેસર જનાર્દન પ્રવેશ કરે છે, જે પોતાની સાથે એક રડતું નાનું બાળક લાવ્યા છે. સુનીત અને પ્રોફેસર વચ્ચે શાકભાજી, સ્ત્રી-પુરુષના સ્વભાવ અને ઇતિહાસ વિશે અત્યંત રમુજી સંવાદો થાય છે.
