Description (English)
Set in a rural settlement near Hirpar village, the play follows Ghela Dosa waiting for his young son, Ramniyo. Ramniyo arrives home after getting into a fight with the men of a influential village leader (Rupsibapu) at a local cinema hall. Fearing retaliation and social pressure, Ghela Dosa and his neighbor Lakhman urge Ramniyo to apologize to the village elites to avoid further trouble. However, Ramniyo's mother, Mali Dosi, strongly resists this submission and speaks out against the injustice, asserting her defiance. The play highlights the themes of caste/class oppression and the spark of resistance within marginalized communities.

હીરપર નામના ગામના છેવાડે આવેલા સેનમાવાસમાં રહેતા ઘેલાડોસા પોતાના ઘરમાં મોડા પડેલા પુત્ર રમણિયાની રાહ જોઈ રહ્યા છે. રમણિયો થીયેટરમાં સિનેમા જોવા ગયો હોય છે, જ્યાં ગામના વગદાર વ્યક્તિ (રૂપસીબાપુ)ના માણસો (ચતુરિયા વગેરે) સાથે તેનો ઝઘડો થાય છે અને તેને માર પડે છે. ઘેલાડોસા અને પાડોશી લખમણ સમજે છે કે ગામના દરબારો અને વગદાર લોકો સામે વિરોધ કરવાથી મુશ્કેલી વધશે, તેથી તેઓ રમણિયાને બાપુની માફી માંગી લેવા દબાણ કરે છે. પરંતુ ઘેલાડોસાની પત્ની માલીડોસી આ અન્યાય સામે અવાજ ઉઠાવે છે અને સમાધાન કરવાનો સખત વિરોધ કરે છે. આ નાટક ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારમાં શોષિત વર્ગ સામે થતા અન્યાય અને તેની સામે ઉઠતા પ્રતિકારને દર્શાવે છે.
