Description (English)

The present play depicts how deeply selfishness has become rooted in our social life. The story begins with the arrival of the three gods (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh) on Earth. As they travel through a village, they are unable to find shelter anywhere because no one is willing to help them. While wandering in distress, they meet a cannabis addict, who eventually leads them to the house of a courtesan, where they are finally offered shelter.

Gomati, a woman who has been forced into prostitution due to helpless circumstances, is the central character of the play. She constantly becomes a victim of society's hypocrisy and double standards. Through the incidents involving Gomati, the playwright skillfully exposes the selfishness, prejudice, and moral contradictions that exist in society, delivering a powerful social message.

પ્રસ્તુત નાટક આપણા આસપાસના સામાજીક જીવનમાં સ્વાર્થ કઈ હદે ઘર કરી ગયો છે તેની વાત કરે છે.નાટકની શરુઆત ત્રિદેવોના પૃથ્વી ઊપર આગમનથી થાય છે ,ગામમાં ક્યાંય આશરો ન મળતા પરેશાન દેવોને એક ગંજેરી મળે છે ,એમને છેવટે એક રુપલલના ત્યાં આશરો મળે છે. મજબૂરીથી આ વ્યવસાયમાં સપઙાયેલી ગોમતીનું પાત્ર સમાજના દોગલાપણાનો સતત ભોગ બને છે, ગોમતા સાથે બનતા આ પ્રસંગોને અહીં લેખકે સરસ રીતે આલેખ્યા છે.
