This manuscript presents a one-act comedy play titled "Soda Lemon Gotalo Ane Natak Name Bhopalo", authored by Jay D. Dixit for the INT Comedy Play Writing Competition 2012. The scene opens on a stage where three young artists—Ravi, Bunty, and Siddharth—are rehearsing for their upcoming play with musical instruments. An elderly man named Magan Kaka (Maganlal Chhaganlal Marfatiya) enters and gets annoyed by their loud, out-of-tune music. Because Magan Kaka is hard of hearing, a series of hilarious miscommunications and confused dialogues break out between him and the youths. Soon, his nephew Rahul arrives to calm the situation down. Later, an actress named Rama arrives late for the rehearsal to play the role of the "Mother," but Magan Kaka mistakes her for someone else from his past, creating further humorous chaos on stage.

આ એકાંકી કોમેડી નાટક "સોડા લેમન ગોટાળો અને નાટક નામે ભોપાળો" ના લેખક જય દ્વિ. દીક્ષિત છે, જે આઇ.એન.ટી. ની વર્ષ ૨૦૧૨ ની કોમેડી નાટક લેખન સ્પર્ધા માટે લખવામાં આવ્યું હતું. નાટકની શરૂઆત એક મંચ પરથી થાય છે જ્યાં ત્રણ યુવાનો—રવિ, બંટી અને સિદ્ધાર્થ—સંગીતના સાધનો વગાડીને પોતાના આવનારા નાટકની રિહર્સલ કરી રહ્યા હોય છે. તે જ સમયે મગનકાકા (મગનલાલ છગનલાલ મારફતીયા) મંચ પર પ્રવેશ કરે છે અને તેમના અવાજથી પરેશાન થઈને બૂમાબૂમ કરવા લાગે છે. મગનકાકા ઉંમરના કારણે કાને ઓછું સાંભળતા હોવાથી તેમની અને યુવાનો વચ્ચે ભારે ગેરસમજ અને હાસ્યાસ્પદ સંવાદો સર્જાય છે. થોડી વારમાં તેમનો ભત્રીજો રાહુલ આવે છે અને કાકાને શાંત પાડવાનો પ્રયાસ કરે છે. ત્યારબાદ રમાબેન નામના એક કલાકાર મોડા પહોંચે છે, જેમને જોઈને કાકા તેમને પોતાની ભૂતકાળની કોઈ સ્ત્રી સમજી બેસે છે. આખી પરિસ્થિતિમાં બહેરાશને કારણે સતત ગોટાળા અને કોમેડી દ્રશ્યો સર્જાય છે.
