Description

As the giant hulk of the Kailasha Temple, scooped out of granite rock, rises before one's illusioned eyes, something like an exclama-tion emerges from one's lips. The liberation of this symbolic cosmos from the vast universe on all sides was surely a feat of the highest skill.

The great carving of Shiva dancing, on the right hand side front wall, is bypassed from the compulsion of curiosity about what is inside.
