Faculty members would like to place on record their gratefulness to the organizers of the tutorial, particularly Shri AKS Gopalan, Chairman, Organizing Committee, GEOMATICS-96 and Shri A R Dasgupta, Secretary, Indian Society of Geomatics, for inviting and suppoting us to plan and conduct the tutorial and thus giving us an opportunity to be associated with an important event for the use and advancement of GIS technology in the country.
