Description

This jackal-like character puppet features a brown furry animal head with pointed ears, expressive eyes, a long snout, and an open mouth. Dressed in a bright yellow traditional-style shirt and dark trousers, it combines animal features with human characteristics. It may have been used in theatrical performances, folk storytelling, and children's entertainment. Preserved in the Theatre & Media Centre (TMC) Archives, it reflects the creativity of animal-based characterisation in puppetry.
